The Social Work Department considers social contribution to be an integral part of its educational and research activities. In this context, students are encouraged to engage in social responsibility projects that allow them to use their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of society.
The social responsibility activities carried out in our department are implemented through awareness-raising initiatives targeting disadvantaged groups, educational and support events, institutional collaborations, and volunteer activities. Students gain experience in observing social problems firsthand and developing solutions by playing an active role in these processes.
These activities contribute to students developing a sense of social responsibility in line with professional values, strengthening their teamwork skills, and interacting with society. Our department continues to support practices that bridge the gap between academic knowledge and social needs.
