The Social Work Department Accreditation Commission was established in accordance with the Department Board decision dated January 13, 2026, and numbered 2026/2, and held its first meeting on January 15, 2026.
The meeting began with an opening statement by the Accreditation Commission Coordinator; general information about the accreditation process was provided, and a work schedule was established. The preparation process for the Self-Evaluation Report (SER) was planned, tasks were distributed among the commission members, and methods for evidence collection and archiving were determined.
It was also decided at the meeting that the commission would meet at regular intervals to ensure that the accreditation process is carried out in a systematic and sustainable manner.
Within the scope of accreditation activities, all education and training activities, including program objectives, program outcomes, assessment and evaluation processes, and practical training, will be evaluated in line with the relevant criteria, and necessary improvement activities will be planned.
