The matter of initiating preparatory work for the accreditation process within the scope of quality assurance for the Bachelor's Degree Program in Social Work and establishing the Department Accreditation Commission was discussed and decided at the Department Council meeting held on January 13, 2026.
It was decided to initiate preparatory work for the accreditation process in order to ensure that the education and training activities carried out in our Department are planned, monitored, evaluated, and continuously improved in line with the quality assurance principles of the Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ) and the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).
Within this scope, the Department Accreditation Commission has been established to carry out the accreditation process, prepare the Self-Evaluation Report, collect the necessary evidence, and coordinate quality assurance activities.
Along with the accreditation process, the aim is to further strengthen the educational quality of our program, increase its compliance with national quality standards, and systematically continue continuous improvement efforts.
