On May 8, 2026, a comprehensive consultation meeting was held at Yalova Training and Research Hospital with the aim of improving the training processes for student interns and enhancing the quality of field practice. The meeting, attended by the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, officials from the Provincial Health Directorate, and hospital department heads, was also attended by departments from our university that send interns. During the meeting, which included Research Assistant Dr. Abdurrahman Sefa Ulu representing our Department of Social Services, an exchange of ideas took place between university faculty and field staff regarding how to make the internship process more efficient.
During the meeting, ideas were exchanged regarding how to make the internship program more effective between academic staff and field personnel. Mutual cooperation efforts for future internship periods were agreed upon.
