An Organ Donation Awareness Session Was Held in Our Department as Part of World Health Week (April 7–13)

A team of experts from the Yalova Provincial Health Directorate conducted presentations on organ donation for our students.

During the educational sessions held in three separate classrooms, current statistics on organ donation were shared, and the differences between brain death and vegetative state, as well as how the organ donation process works, were explained in detail. The presentations, which drew keen interest from our students, were successfully concluded after the students’ questions were answered.
