Faculty members from our department provided academic support for a consultation meeting organized to enhance the effectiveness of initiatives carried out at the local level under the strategy and National Action Plan for Roma citizens.
During the meeting with the Yalova Provincial Director of Family and Social Services and his delegation, our department’s areas of expertise were utilized in the processes of supporting field research with scientific data, creating neighborhood-based needs assessments, and determining technical evaluation criteria for projects. Based on the insights provided by our faculty members, a strong foundation for academic collaboration was established for the development of the Provincial Action Plan and the planned workshop.
