The Social Work Department Accreditation Board Held Its Second Meeting of 2026

The Social Work Department Accreditation Board held its second meeting of 2026 online on February 11, 2026, during which it made important assessments regarding the department's quality assurance and accreditation process.

During the meeting, the department's organizational and management structure was discussed in line with accreditation criteria; decisions were made on strengthening the committee structure, systematizing measurement and evaluation processes, and establishing a digital evidence archiving system.

In this context, it was decided to:

• Expand the structure of the Accreditation Board by strengthening stakeholder representation.

• Submit the proposal to establish an Assessment and Evaluation Commission to the Department Board.

• Archive documents related to the accreditation process in a regular and systematic manner.

• Determine the teaching objectives of the program in line with stakeholder opinions.

The Department of Social Work continues to pursue continuous improvement in the areas of education, research, and social contribution through its work within the framework of the quality assurance system.
